Laptop - which colour?
Hehe, the title sounds like something Cher Horowitz (or Paris Hilton..) would’ve said, doesn’t it? It’s not quite _that_ bad, though.
When I got my job in the web design agency, I had to bring my own pc (very small company, I was their first employee who didn’t also have an ownership in the firm). I purchased a real working hero, an Asus T6K, at nearly 3 kilos. It’s been great - and still is - however, now that I’ve gotten my own desktop pc at work, and we already have several at home, I no longer need a “big bad monster” of a laptop. I’ve persuaded my partner into purchasing it, and for a while I’ve been looking for a smaller replacement, one that I can carry along with me everywhere. I think I’ve settled on the Asus Aspire One - but which colour? I’m torn between white and pink, but I kind of like both the blue and the brown ones as well. Which one would you chose, and why?

I’d pick the blue one myself. I love the brown, when you see it as a circle, but once you see the brown laptop itself, it doesn’t look that good (IMHO). White is.. just white and pink is.. well.. too pink (much too girlygirly for me).
The blue one is gorgeous - and it’s my favourite colour

If I were you, I’d pick the brown. It’s a nice shade, understated so that you would be paying attention to what is on the screen rather than the color of your laptop. Plus I think it’d look fabulous with a yellow sunflower lying across the top. I don’t know why that came to mind, but it did and I’m stuck brown now.

Thanks for the input, everyone - at LJ, most people seem to be liking the pink one, but even though I collect dolls I don’t think I am quite ready for such a girly statement… I do actually agree with Erin on how the brown one is nice - and it would definitely stand out, compared to Macs and the usual silver/black ones. Hm. Will ponder some more, I reckon.

It will be another one of those choose-on-a-hunch when I go to the store to purchase it, I reckon..! I am hoping that they have most of the colours there so that I can see them irl.
