Photography
Back in the late 80s I spent a year at a journalism themed folk high school, and during that year I purchased a SLR, my Nikonf801s. I also got two lenses to go with it, and a nice speedflash, a SB-24. However, my period as an aspiring journalist didn’t last very long, and I put my interest in photography to rest for a long time.
Having kids in ‘99 and ‘02 of course made me start taking pictures again, but this time with digital cameras - even though not very good ones to begin with.
Last fall (2006) my partner gave me a DSLR, a NikonD70s that I’d been eyeing for nearly two years, but still didn’t really dive into photography on a serious level - web design occupied all of my available time. During the late part of 2007, however, I started to spend more and more time on flickr, and slowly but surely my interest was ignited once again.
As of January 2008 I can safely claim that photography is my number one hobby, and my aim is to take the step from being a regular shutterbug to actually being able of capturing and displaying for others the pictures my eyes and mind see.
