Project 365 - 16

Our oldest kid had heart surgery in October, and today he had his first checkup. Everything looked perfect! Another checkup in a year or so, then a physical test sometime during his adolescence, and he’s done! The photo shows a "spider" made from the electrodes used during today’s examination.

I am so glad the checkup went great - and that scar looks like it’s healing REALLY well!

They did a much better job on your lad than they did on my brother when he had appendicitis - his scare is quite ‘obvious’ even now (about 9-10 years on)

Thanks, Jem. Yeah, the scar is looking great - they glued the skin together, no outside stitches, I reckon that’s a reason for it looking so neat.
